It gives me great pleasure to announce that this years rally was a brilliant success , while over 500 rally go'ers enjoyed themselves immensely, the members of the club worked very hard in making sure that everyone's needs where met. We were very lucky with the weather as the rain held off and kept people in the party mood.
A big thank you to Bad Penny and Voodoo for rocking the night away. To all the winners that received trophies and of course the wet t-shirt contestants, that were brilliant on the night. Last but not least, the two young ladies who took all their clothes off at the end of the night to keep the lads awake! It's our aim to make sure that the Harp Rally remains a genuine value for money rally in these hard times, so please keep supporting CMCC because without your support there would be no Harp Rally.
Yours in biking,
Wayne O'Neill,
Chairman

We checked into the Harp Rally down pedagree corner around 9p.m. At this stage the weather had cleared to a few light showers having hit some torrential downpours as far as Stradbally. The checkin was the usual 12 Euro with badge which was a beauty. The rally and badge were being dedicated to John Mulhall, a club member who was taken from the lads in the last year.
The carpark had quite an amount of bikes in it and the lads had it well secured. Inside the hall there was a good crowd of the usual suspects present. Druids, Slippy Clutch, Ceatharlach, Renegades, No Hopers, Wild Rose, Suir Side and a few clubs from across the pond, The Greedy Pigs and the Black Widows U.K. The lads do quite a few English rallies during the year so they get good support back. The first band up were "Rock of Ages" who played a good tight set of covers getting the crowd in form for the rest of the night.
