On the 8th of December 2005, one of C.M.C.C.'s longest standing members sadly lost his life whilst competing at Mondello's Leinster 200 meeting. Stephen Denahy was one of Clondalkin's most active members for in excess of fifteen years and his passing was a huge loss across the broad spectrum of the biking fraternity. Steve raced short ciruits for many years with numerous successes along the way on a diverse range of bikes, including a Grand prix 250 Honda, Yamaha FZR 600 and Suzuki RG 500 SP. When not away racing at weekends, he was likely to be found having the craic at a bike rally somewhere or simply down at the local pub drinking a few pints with the lads. His infectious personality and beaming smile touched and affected the lives of all those who met him. He is greatly missed by family and friends
Wife Dee and baby son Stephen Junior.
