Martin was one of lifes greatest people, you would never feel left out if he was in your company. He rarely lost touch with anyone he knew, so he socialised a lot, but some of the best memories I have of Martin are from when the bikes and the socialising were combined. Rallies, Rock nights, Stag nights are only the tip of the iceberg. If I were to say life is a lot duller without Martin it would take another lifetime to explain, such was the amount of laughs we had together and then he also had a 'knack' of calling you when you had the worlds worst hangover so that you would get up and help him with a nixxer. There will never be anyone that will fill Martins shoes hard as nails but a gentleman,and one helluva pilot I hope he's watching down on us, coz he's probably the fastest Angel up there.
